This little chick-a-dee is almost ONE! I can't not believe it! This year has gone by so fast! We wanted to send some cute pictures for our birth family for Mother's Day so I recruited my mom to help. I think they turned out pretty good considering I am a novice. She is getting harder and harder to look at the camera.
Avery this month:

Climbs up stairs
like a pro – 5 stairs is the max then she gets tired so it is perfect from the
family room to the kitchen, but not so much from the kitchen to the bedrooms
·
Has started to
walk on her own 4-5 steps at a time
·
Can pull herself
up to standing position off of any object including the wall
·
Is trying to
stand up in the middle of the room
·
Is constantly on
the move
·
Crawls over
things instead of going around
·
Drinks from a
straw and sippy cup very well
·
Eats just about
everything that mom and dad eats
·
Hates her face
washed
·
Has two teeth on
the bottom
·
Loves to play
with her animals and books
·
Can push most
buttons in her books on her own – she gets so excited when the music starts to
play
·
She can turn the
light switches off and working on turning them on
·
Loves dogs and
birds
·
Jumps in her
crib
·
Loves to swing
and slide
·
Waves when asked
·
Waves when we
are with others when she is tired and in mommy’s arms so she can go nap is
peace
·
Gets excited
when she sees other children she can play with – I am really that boring
·
Gives kisses to
daddy on the cheek with and without signal
·
Loves to explore
and try new things
·
Chatters all the
time and mimics words
·
Says mama and
dada but no other words yet
·
Her hair is
getting really long
·
We can put her
hair in a small piggy tail
·
Loves to perform
for people at church and they love it
·
Loves to play
peek-a-boo
·
Sleeps on her
face and bum in the air
·
Loves mommy’s
hair still – we think that she thinks it is food, silly girl
·
Shares with you
only to take it right back
·
Loves to see
herself in the mirror
·
Has some pretty
funny facial expressions – the crunch face
