Clinton City Easter Egg 

We had a busy and awesome Easter this year. We started out at the Clinton Easter Egg Hunt with Lucy and Molly. While Avery was crawling around/staring at others and the treats, there was a nice gentleman that threw an egg near Avery. We we opened the egg up there was $5 in the egg. So kind.

It got pretty windy out there and we did not think to bring Avery a hat. Luckily daddy always has one in his coat pocket so we made do with it.

We did not move very far from this spot. :)

 Happy Easter with the cousins and Aunt Missy! She was not sure what to do with the bunny. :)

Lawrence Easter Egg Hunt

Next was the Lawrence Eater Egg Hunt after the first session of Conference. This hunt takes about an hour before everyone is tired of looking for eggs. This year I even found a pervious years money egg! It was pretty yucky!

 Avery does not quite get the whole egg hunt. We "practiced" at home but she would shake the egg and get a treat every time. She would shake these eggs and they did not really shake because they were so full of candy. However the coin eggs would shake.

 Avery was far more interested in the leaves on the ground then the eggs. We would move a leaf so she could see the egg but would pick up the leaf instead of the egg. She loves the crunch of the leaf and often times the taste too!

Avery's first taste of what is inside the eggs. She approved! She knows where the yummy stuff is in the kitchen too!

Law Easter Egg Hunt

While the men all went to the Priesthood session of Conference, the girls all got together for pizza and an Egg Hunt. Avery still had opened candy in her bucket so of course she is going to go for it. 

Easter Sunday

Nothing to big for Easter Sunday. It was so nice to have Easter on Conference Sunday. The real reason for the season. What beautiful testimonies that were shared. We will live again because of Him, my brother, Jesus Christ!

Avery got a cute outfit from grandma and grandpa Fire and a baby dolly from mommy and daddy. She loves taking the binky out of the babies mouth. She was never a binky baby so no baby is. :)
