1st Birthday!!

We celebrated Avery's 1st birthday on Sunday, May 3rd.  We had lots of family 

and friends in attendance. We missed Danna, Grandma Diane and Grandpa Carl. 

We will see them soon!

We are new to the whole birthday/balloons thing and did not release that the helium 

does not stay very long in latex balloons. They were still fun to play with.

  

We had about 40 people in attendance including both our families, 

grandparents and some good friends the Milksops.

 The smash cake! We made it ourselves and it turned out pretty good. As soon as the 

cake was placed in front of her she had her hands in it. She is not shy. Food is her friend. 

She was a little confused when we started to sing happy birthday but did not mind. 

She even clapped for us once we were done. :)

Her swing! and she loves it! We are outside all the time. It is great when 

Dave is mowing the lawn, we just swing and slide. 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AVERY!!!

Once everyone went home, we took her temperature. She was 101 F. I knew she did not feel well but I did not really know it. It has been a long week for all of us. All three of us have been sick and slowly feeling better. Colds are no fun! What a good way to celebrate. NOT
