Saddest Day Ever

On Saturday, March 14th we had to go to instacare after a frequent fall from walking.  We were all playing on the floor, Avery stood up and starting walking and fell. With both of us there, we both grabbed her and her right arm got twisted funny. She cried but a lot more than she typically does. Usually she calms down after a fall as soon as you pick her up. This time it did not happen. We tried to distract her from the fall by reading books. Usually she is so excited to read with her arms going crazy. Not so much this time. We noticed that she was using her left arm but her right arm had not moved. When we would touch her right arm she would again cry. So after talking to Grandpa Fire, he said to go to an instacare, just as both Dave and I felt.

Notice that her right arm is straight and she dose not move it. :(

When the doctor came in, he played with her shoulder and elbow softly in case of a break. We then had to have x-rays. NO FUN! The lady was not very nice. Avery got so fed up with her that she swung her right arm at her a few times because she kept moving it. She was not a happy camper! We were all so sad.

Daddy playing peek-a-boo with a tissue. You can sort of see a smile in the bottom picture.

The x-rays cams back normal. So the doctor played a little bit more aggressive and finally it popped back in! If he wouldn't have been able to pop it back in we would have had to have a sling. After about 5 minutes a nurse came in with Tylenol. As she put it in Avery's mouth, she extended both arms  and wanted more medicine. It must of been really yummy. From then on she was as happy as could be!
