Finialization

Monday, November 17, 2014 at 1:30 pm we were declared Avery’s parents by Judge Dawson and Attorney Cody Wilson.

The judge was running a little behind.  We sat in the court room for 20 min before he entered.  In the meantime Avery was a flirt with the “audience” Grandma Lori, Grandpa fire, Aunt Missy, Grandma Jana, Poppie and a person representing Heart and Soul Adoptions. She would make eye contact with everyone and smile and grin until she got to the representative and she would just stare at her with a worried look on her face. So cute.

Judge Dawson was fun. The mentioned several times how much Avery looks like the two of us. We love that! He said that we have our hands full with our little Avery. I have been told this by many. She is a mover and interested in everything and everyone and we LOVE it! At the end we asked if we could do pictures and he stated that he charges a fee for pictures. He few was that he got to hold Avery. Avery was so cute with him too. Of course she had to go for his glasses.

Afterwards we celebrated with ice cream! Avery’s new favorite treat! – only in moderation of course :)
