Avery this month:
- Is loving tummy time
- She teases us with almost rolling over but not quite yet
- Is getting really good at avoiding naps at all costs- as a results get really ornery and only wants mommy
- Typically gets 2-3 naps ranging from 30 to 90 minutes
- LOVES when daddy comes home
- Loves to fly with daddy. Occasionally she will hold her whole body straight in the air. She is getting so strong!
- Makes diligent effort while laying down or in her car seat (when strapped in) to sit up, but can only get her head up
- Is getting better at sitting up – almost on her own still falls forward
- Is eating three meals a day of oatmeal, green beans and applesauce! Applesauce is the favorite
- Spits up more than she ever has
- Tries to hold her own bottle
- Smiles all the time!
- Loves to sing with mom and dad
- Loves to go on walks in the stroller with the car seat or the baby backpack.
- Loves to hear big trucks, lawn mowers, dogs and birds
- Chatters and coos all the time
- Loves to shriek
- No longer is swaddled when she sleeps – hates it
- Laughing more especially when you get her ribs and neck
- Loves to be held in a position she can look around
- Loves to be a part of things
- Loves to read books – especially Little Duck – she can eat little duck finger puppet
- Turns her head to wherever mom and dad are talking
- Hands are always in her mouth and anything else she can get
- Drools all the time – can’t wait to see what teething brings
- Grabbing everything in her reach
- Learning to throw her toys and binky at naptime.
- Rarely cries unless she is tired
- Went through the Ogden Temple open house
- Is more and more fun every day! I LOVE this stage
